The duo gave a master stroke with ‘Malaikottai’ that was a blockbuster in both Tamil and Telugu. Now they are back with ‘Pattathu Yaanai’.

Boopathy Pandian’s fortune was persistently fluctuating due to his projects being dropped at the last moment. He was supposed to wield megaphone for a romantic comedy with Silambarasan in lead role. The film was to be produced by director Lingusamy of Tirupathi Brothers and it was cancelled for unknown reason.

His other film ‘Vedi’ with Vikram was all set to take off on August 7 in Salem and the misfortune knocked his doors again.

Now the filmmaker has joined hands with Vishal for his next film titled ‘Pattathu Yaanai’. The film will be produced by Vishal’s home banner GK Films Corporations.

Nothing has been revealed about the crew and the project will take off once Vishal completes his portions for Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’.
