The animation film starring Rajinikanth, Sultan – The Warrior, has been in the making for the last couple of years. This film is directed and produced by his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth. Our sources in Kollywood report that since it involves a lot of graphics work the film has been delayed. Further, Endhiran, which has Superstar in the lead role, was also another reason for the delay.
With Endhiran’s release date fixed for the month of September, work on Sultan – The Warrior may begin in October. According to our sources, Rajinikanth may take a break after the release of Endhiran and commence this animation flick in October.
